Seniors - Still Need 100% Participation on Post Graduation Form and Naviance Senior Exit Survey

Student Ambassador Applications Now Open

The PTO has opened applications for the Student Ambassador program. They are seeking to appoint about 30 Student Ambassadors as representatives of Northview High School. Ambassadors will be expected to assist the PTO and counseling department with various school related programs, events and activities throughout the year to enhance the student expectations and image of Northview High School. Fulton County Now Using Naviance to Help Students with College and Career Preparation

Fulton County Schools is providing students, grades 9-12, access to Naviance, an online college and career readiness platform that helps students find their best-fit path after high school.  Naviance is designed to integrate different aspects of the college application process including Common App, recommendations, and transcripts.  Visit our Naviance web page for more information on how to log in: https://www.northviewcounseling.com/naviance.

Online Summer Classes - Don't forget to pay for your summer classes once you have registered for them and been approved by the counseling office.

Dual Enrollment Reminder - Once you have registered for DE classes, don't forget to submit a copy of your college course schedule to boatwrightc@fultonschools.org.

Applerouth’s Virtual College Road Trip

Spring is the season for college visits, and since students can't visit campuses in-person this May, Applerouth is bringing the campuses to them! Applerouth has gathered a panel of current students from colleges all over the United States (University of Michigan, Tufts, The College of William and Mary, Cornell University and University of Wisconsin-Madison). The panel will share college search tips and give students a first-hand look at their campus lives.

New Student Leadership Opportunity for 2020-21

Fulton County Youth Commission 2020-21 - Due by June 26, 2020 by 5pm

The Fulton County Youth Commission is a LEADERSHIP PROGRAM designed to help get tomorrow's LEADERS involved TODAY! As Youth Commissioners, they will address the many issues presently facing youth through the influences of government mandates, policies and legislation. Students will become familiar with how local government resolves youth issues and will make suggestions for the best solutions, but most importantly, help facilitate change. For consideration, students must meet the following criteria:

 Must be a resident of Fulton County

 Must attend a school within Fulton County (public, private, charter)

 Must be in the 9th -11th grade during the 2020-2021 academic year

 Must submit a completed application and a two-page essay
