Upcoming Events

Coffee with the Counselors on Friday, February 21st
Parents, please join us on February 21st from 8:45am to 9:30am for our second Coffee with Counselors. We will be meeting in the Media Center.

Career Lunch-n-Learn (Students Only) on Wednesday, February 26th

Georgia Tech SWE (Society for Women Engineers) Outeach Program
The GT SWE is hosting an event for high school girls to learn more about different engineering majors. Student will experience hands-on demos and tour the campus. The event is Sunday, March 8, 2020, from 9:00am - 2:00pm at the Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons 1st Floor. Cost of attendance is $10 which includes all actvities and lunch. College and Career Fair at Johns Creek High School
Johns Creek High School and Probe are hosting a College and Career Fair at Johns Creek High School on March 16th from 5:30-7:30pm. Attend and meet representatives from state and national universities and college, career and technical schools will be available in an exhibit-style format to meet and ask questions on admission, financial aid and career opportunities.

In honor of their Preview Day this Saturday, Georgia Gwinnett College will be waiving its application fee starting February 19 – February 26! Here's the link to apply: application.


Test Prep

After school ACT/SAT classes through Princeton Review
As part of our renewed partnership with the Fulton County Board of Education, The Princeton Review is once again offering test preparation this fall and spring at Northview High School, and now is the perfect time to enroll! Our Spring 2019-20 offerings will consist of one SAT course and one ACT course, see the attached flyer or contact the counseling office for specific schedules and details. All Fulton County Schools students are eligible to register for $125 (a discount of more than 80% off of our normal $699 price), and will receive 15 hours of classroom instruction, three in-class proctored practice exams, access to online drills, and a booklet of additional practice tests! The Spring ACT and SAT classes are starting soon, with others to follow - register online today to provide your student with the skills needed to excel on the SAT or ACT!

Summer Opportunities with Upcoming Deadlines

Cisco High School STEM Externship - Due February 29, 2020
The Cisco High School STEM Program is a comprehensive 2 to 4-week unpaid summer externship designed to give top, STEM and business focused students an introduction to Cisco’s history, culture, and the technology industry. Students will be engaged in interactive project work, problem-solving, and learn to communicate with industry professionals and peers. Link to: information.
