On Tuesday November 12, 2013, The NHS Counseling Department and two representatives from Georgia Gwinnett College and Georgia Perimeter College hosted Georgia Apply to College Day. Over the course of the day, the counseling department and its voulunteers helped 49 seniors apply to over 30 different colleges and universities around the nation! School wide, teachers, staff, and administrators also participated in Georgia Apply to College Day by wearing their college colors and introducing college themed activities into their classrooms.

These are some of the colleges that our students applied to: University of: Georgia, West Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Minnesota, South Carolina, North Georgia;Georgia Southern Georgia College & State University, The Citadel, Georgia Gwinnett College, San Diego State, College of Charleston, Ogelthorpe, Savannah State, Valdosta State, Kennesaw State University, St. Johns University, just a to name a few!
